SMOCKING
Smocking is a type of embroidery that decorates as well as gathers the fabric on which it is worked. It is guided by a grid that is marked on the fabric in evenly spaced dots. Ready-made hot iron transfers of smocking dots are available, or we can make our own dotted grid.

Drawn thread work

It is also known as pulled thread work, is a form of counted-thread embroidery based on removing threads from the warp and/or the weft of a piece of even-weave fabric.

QUILTING

One of the earliest and most universal embroidery techniques, consisting of stitching two or three thickness of fabric together in a pattern to produce a raised surface pattern. It was mostly used to make warm bed clothing and on garments. There are a lot of variety in filling and quilting techniques.
